Stefan specialises in shareholder disputes and inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber (Ondernemingskamer) and litigates disputes concerning investments and acquisitions (such as breaches of warranty or earn-out provisions). Stefan also litigates commercial disputes (including disputes concerning the performance or termination of agreements) and the liability of directors and supervisory directors. In addition, he advises companies on corporate governance and directors, shareholders and supervisory directors on their legal position, including in listed companies.

Stefan has thorough knowledge of corporate law and extensive experience with inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber. In addition, Stefan assists clients in arbitration proceedings. He worked for some time in the business sector at a bank and has experience with financial liability law, such as breaches of duty of care and the applicability of the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act (Wwft).

Stefan was a member of the Bar Council of the Midden-Nederland Bar Association until April 2025. He is one of the founders of Finch Dispute Resolution in 2022. Prior to that, he was a lawyer at Wijn & Stael and Van Benthem & Keulen and legal counsel at Van Lanschot Kempen.
