Jan van der Schoor works as a paralegal at Finch. He specializes in property law and liability law, with a particular focus on climate liability and class actions.

Jan is a lecturer at the Molengraaff Institute for Private Law of Utrecht University. He lectures on contract law, property law and civil procedural law. In addition to his teaching, Jan conducts academic research at Utrecht University.

Jan’s master’s thesis is about unwritten standards of care in business. For his thesis he received the Molengraaff Thesis Award in 2024.
